When we tell the story of how we met,
the reactions are always the same...
“You’re from the same place…
but met in New York?!”
Long Story Short - Jacob messaged Madison to “work together.”
“No one believes this, but i wasn’t lying!” - Jacob
So, they MET UP
went to a dinner in a K-Town Basement, had a drink at a Garment District watering hole, and then got so busy that they didn’t talk again for about six months…
(To be fair, if you know them, this makes sense.)
When they did meet back up, things progressed as many normal NYC relationships do… going to museums, experimental cinema, doing a mukbang for a commercial, and the classic situation that happens in all great love stories…
One person gets evicted in the middle of the night, and the two break in to get their cat, Pollyanna, back.
Madison always says the reason she became interested in Jacob was thaT his accent sounded like home. We’re from the same mountains, grew up running the same roads… and yes we really had never met.
Jacob surprised Madison with a trip to London for her birthday not even 6 months into dating. 6 years LATER ALMOST TO THE DAY IN june 2022…
Jacob proposed in London’s
Tate Modern MUSEUM.
Travel, adventure, long nights working, grueling deadlines, seeing art, making art, and loving Pollyanna. The stories that make up our relationship are as winding as the mountain roadS that Madison constantly tells Jacob to slow down on…
“because he didn’t grow up driving them!” - MADISON
We are excited to celebrate our love with our family & chosen family who have been supportive, integral parts of our life together.
WE hope to see you in the mountains.
